Welcome to the world of LINGUA MADRE!

The cultural and linguistic association LINGUA MADRE is active in the old town as a multicultural meeting point; our main purpose is to promote the Italian culture and the knowledge of European languages. Our Italian language school is in Genoa, old city rich in history, capitol of Liguria, popular region with tourists for its beautiful beaches, picturesque little towns, and food.

ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSES We offer Italian language courses for individuals, groups and for those who are interested in applying for CILS and CELI certificates, as well as intensive courses in specialized fields (such as architecture, medicine, cuisine, etc.) through an easy and friendly methodology of learning a language and discovering the Italian culture while taking part in various activities such as to experience directly the Italian way of life.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE COURSES LINGUA MADRE is a team of mother tongue teachers, trained to teach at the very basic level to the most advanced one, within the European framework criteria. We offer Spanish, Portuguese, English, Russian,French and Arabic language courses.

TOURIST ACTIVITIES Lingua Madre is not just a language school, but a group of people sharing the passion for nature, art and creativity. You could find yourself participating in a mountain trek, nature walks, trekking from sea-to-mountain, sailing trip, enjoying the local attractions and tasting delicius Ligurian products or taking part to professional cooking and painting classes.

RECEPTION AND INFORMATION SERVICES To make your stay in Genoa as interesting and care-free as possible, Lingua Madre will help you to find accommodation (hotel, B&B, private apartment), recommended places to eat, places to visit, familiarize you with the easy public transportation network, etc.

ACCREDITATIONS: the cultural and linguistic association is approved and accredited by the University of Genoa for students training.
